Valencia CF and the Valencia Food Bank, together since 2020 in favor of groups and families in need

On International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, which is celebrated every October 17, Valencia CF, with the VCF Foundation, and the Food Bank of Valencia continue to help groups and families who have difficulties in acquiring basic necessities in their daily lives.
Mestalla is, since May 2020, a logistical point four days a month to distribute food to citizens in need.
Since May 2020 the people served at Mestalla have been a total of 107,480 in their monthly distributions, that is, 39,473 families, in addition 7,522 solidarity bags have been provided to those families in precarious situations while they regularize the documents to access the monthly distribution. Since the start of the project in 2020, a total of 2,678,575 kgrs of staple foods have been distributed.
Precisely, the Food Banks of Castellón, Valencia and Alicante received last October 9, the Day of the Community of Valencia, the Distinctions of Merit for actions in favor of equality and for an inclusive society.
This social sustainability activity is now part of the VCF World, a Valencia CF project that brings together different social actions throughout the season with the aim of preventing, educating and acting for the benefit of society under the philosophy of a decalogue of VCF DNA values.
